A very well-known family business is located in the town of Tetir.
I was met there by María, dedicated in body and soul to making delicious cheeses by hand using raw milk produced exclusively by goats.
I was able to see with my own eyes how they look after the animals, how they feed them with products they make themselves and how they produce and innovate in the production of their cheeses. My favourite? Cured cheese with “gofio” and the cottage cheese with cactus fruit! Because there is no better cheese than the cheese from the island of Fuerteventura.
